Slate Roof Replacement on Lowestoft Marquis of Lorne Development

We’ve been looking through Instagram for some jobs that we’ve posted or been tagged in but never got around to putting up on our blog. Last summer we completed a roof refurbishment at the Marquis Of Lorne in Lowestoft. Lovely old building with period art deco features that were uncovered during its transformation from dilapidated hostelry into luxury seaside apartments. 

JR Construction contracted us to supply and fix new breather membrane, battens and slates to the entire roof area.

We’ve been following the progress on the developers Facebook page ever since we finished our part and the 18 month project is nearly completed. Final kitchen and bathrooms going in before Christmas. So if you are looking for an apartment by the sea (in a building with a beautiful slate roof and restored period features) in the New Year, the Marquis of Lorne development in Lowestoft could be a great place to start!
