Plain Tiled Pitched Roof for Cringleford Extension

Our team of expert roofers began by installing a new Cromar Vent 3 Pro breather membrane. This superior underlay not only protects the roof structure from the elements but also allows for proper ventilation, minimising the risk of condensation buildup. The membrane was secured onto a framework of treated timber battens, ensuring a robust and long-lasting foundation for the new roof tiles.

For the main roof covering, we opted for aesthetically pleasing and distinctive Sandtoft Humber clay plain tiles in a timeless Flanders colour. These tiles offer exceptional weather resistance and a touch of classic elegance, perfectly complementing the existing property.

To ensure ample natural light for the extension, we strategically positioned two high-quality roof lights. The roof was finished with matching Sandtoft clay ridge tiles and expertly crafted lead apron flashings for superior waterproofing around the edges.

Finally, to address specific ventilation needs, we installed three bespoke vent tiles, seamlessly integrated into the overall design.
