Case Study: Replacing Pitched Roof and Insulation in Cromer

We took a trip down to Cromer last week. Unfortunately, there was no crabbing off the pier or out of season seaside frolics for us: we had a job to do. Our client’s roof was in a pretty poor state of repair and as you can see from the images below, the tiles on both sides of the roof had clearly seen better days.

As a result, RG Leverett were tasked with removing the old tiles and replacing them. We were fortunate that the weather was kind to us and we were able to work under clear blue skies.

Once we had stripped off all those old tiles, we upgraded all the insulation. For a property such as this one, which is located so close to the coast, having a properly insulated roof can potentially save you money on your heating bills as the weather grows colder.

All-in-all, we were very pleased with this job. Some of the seafront properties at Cromer have been a tad neglected in recent years, so it is pleasing that some owners are investing in their properties. We will be happy to take on any further work in the vicinity, the views along the coast and out to see were stunning.
