We were recently asked to carry out a balcony refurbishment at a property in North London. Access issues meant it was not possible for us to remove the old roof covering and we therefore had to suggest an alternative solution to the problem. After discussions with the customer we recommended a product called Protec. Protec is a liquid roofing system that comes complete with a 20 year warranty. It can only be installed by approved installers, so this customer can be assured of receiving a first rate job. The Protec system was then topped with Warco rubber tiles to give an attractive finish. The tiles are available in a range of colours and the simple to install system overlays the roof, meaning there is no need for mechanical of solvent fixings.
