Look at whether the company you are considering are registered with the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) and whatever accreditations they have. An accredited contractor will have all the necessary experience and tools to complete the job to a high standard. They will be aware of their duty to offer integrity, otherwise their reputation and accreditations could be at risk.
